Were you the Good Samaritan who helped boy, 11, during Bransholme attack?

Detectives are trying to trace a Good Samaritan who came to the aid of a boy who was being attacked in Bransholme.

The attack happened at 8.10am yesterday outside Netto in Goodhart Road.

According to police, the boy, 11, and his friend were play fighting outside the supermarket when he fell over.

As he did so he was approached by three youths, who demanded that he hand over his mobile.

A man in his 30s intervened and the boy's attackers ran off empty-handed.

The three youths were all in their mid to late teens and around 5ft 7in tall with skinny builds.
