Expectations on Parade

THE five-piece indie band Morning Parade have a lot of hope and expectation resting on their young shoulders. They recently signed with Parlophone, home to Coldplay and Blur, and have had tracks played by Radio 1 and XFM.

Their set opens with breakout track Under The Stars, a wonderful mix of electronic and dance, building to a huge chorus.

The hype certainly isn't affecting the band, particularly frontman Steve Sparrow. He bleeds confidence with his heartfelt vocals as they ring out on the powerful Marble Attic and the anthemic Headlights.

Standout track Youth is next up, with a delightful little piano line not too dissimilar to the Robert Miles classic 90s dance track Children – song just aching to be performed in arenas and stadiums.

Upcoming single A&E has a sweet little intro that explodes into life mid-song.

In just a few months these hard-working Essex boys have been propelled into the limelight – and it's pretty clear what the fuss is about.
