Spring Bank Tavern's landlord fined for playing loud music

A Hull pub landlord has been fined hundreds of pounds for persistently playing loud music.

Kevin Gray, the landlord of the Spring Bank Tavern, city centre, was prosecuted by Hull City Council after ignoring a notice requiring him to stop playing loud music.

However, Hull magistrates heard he breached the notice on May 30, June 5, August 29 and September 10 last year.

Mr Gray did not attend court and was convicted in his absence.

He was fined �350 and made to pay �1,791.90 costs, which he must have paid by Wednesday, February 16.
