Conservatives: Look for "new ways of working" to control costs and keep council tax at "the lowest possible level." Call for improvements to the A453 and A52 and promote increased re-cycling.
Look at where housing is needed. Promote healthy living and provide cost effective leisure centres.
Support business start-ups and promote affordable homes. Reduce crime.
The Green Party: Oppose the green bin charge.
Invest in public services and call for the coalition to stop "slashing" funds to local councils. Fairer society for all. Green job creation.
Labour: Oppose Tories and Lib Dems because of "savage" cuts to jobs and services nationally.
Introduce a 30 mph limit on Radcliffe Road and restrictions on parking in Lady Bay. Oppose any cuts to police patrols and support neighbourhood policing to limit noise and nuisance from pubs in West Bridgford and Lady Bay.
More affordable housing and regulation on multiple-occupancy housing.
Ensure West Bridgford town centre reflects residents' needs.
Liberal Democrats: Insist on eco-friendly new homes and house-building driven by what people want. Want safe pedestrian and cycling routes. Reduce �25 green bin charge to �10. Press the county council to ensure highways and footpaths are maintained.
Set up a community toilet scheme and West Bridgford Town Council. Review car-parking, push for park and ride.
UK Independence Party: Cut council tax and business rates, more money for local services, cut council executive and managers, give decision making to communities, zero tolerance on crime and anti-social behaviour.
