Ex-Hull City and FC boss fights Czech extradition on drug charges

A former Hull City and Hull FC boss claimed he could "die" if he is extradited to the Czech Republic on drug trafficking charges

Tim Wilby is accused of smuggling amphetamines in the east European country.

His legal team argued at an extradition hearing that he could die unless he receives further treatment after Westminster Magistrates Court heard he suffers from HIV.

District Judge John Zani adjourned the case to enable further investigations to take place.

Former Rugby League player Wilby, a former chief executive of Hull FC and an ex-Tigers' chairman, is fighting extradition on the grounds of his ill-health.
