Woman sobs as she appears in court charged with attack on home of brother's killer

THE sister of a murdered teenager has been charged with an arson attack at the home of one of his killers.
Jessica Conman, 21, sobbed as she appeared at Hull Crown Court charged with an arson attack on murderer Lee Young's home.
Her brother Lee Conman, 15, was brutally killed in a random attack by 17-year-olds Young, of Amberley Close, east Hull, and Leon Thomas Clarkson, of St Ives Close, east Hull, on September 22, 2006.
Miss Conman, of Dorking Close, east Hull, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life, criminal damage and arson – recklessly endangering life.
It is alleged she set fire to Young's home on March 5.
A spokesman for Humberside Fire And Rescue Service said: "We received a call at 10.49pm to Amberley Close to a small fire in the hallway, which had safely been extinguished prior to the arrival of the fire service."
A spokesman for Humberside Police said no one was injured.
Miss Conman is due to return to court in June for a plea and case management hearing.
She stood in the same dock and courtroom where her brother's killers had stood four years earlier.
Miss Conman cried throughout the short hearing and told her family that she "loved" them.
Her brother Lee was killed after he was chased by a gang of 20 youths from Bransholme, including Young and Clarkson.
They attacked him in Ings Road, east Hull.
He was struck over the head with a stick and kicked.
Lee died in hospital 14 hours after the attack.
Young was ordered to serve a minimum of 12 years in a detention centre and Clarkson was ordered to serve 11 years.
