The newly retired basketball star has agreed to work as a spokesperson for the Soup Man restaurant chain.
Inspired by Seinfeld’s infamous Soup Nazi, the restaurant is no stranger to promotional opportunities. Baseball great Reggie Jackson cut the ribbon at Soup Man’s reopening last year.
Soup Man is excited to use the fun-loving big man as a “partner, brand champion, adviser, and all-around SouperMan.”
And so is Shaq.
“The soup at The Original Soup Man is Shaqalicious and I am excited to be a part of it,” he said.
