Forget everything you thought you knew because you were dead wrong about the following three NFL teams. These three teams will leave you stunned this year as they defy your perception.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jack del Rio will have the Jaguars prepared to shock the NFL world just like they did last year. This defense is revamped with gritty veterans who will unite to make this one of the top units of 2011. Maurice Jones-Drew is healthy to take the pressure off David Garrard, who still has one year left as a starting QB under his belt.
2. New York Giants: The Giants have a great receiving corps and rushing attack to support Eli Manning, who is one of the top QBs in the NFL. The defense finally has a quality linebacker unit. The cornerbacks leave much to be desired, but they are loaded with playmaking safeties in Kenny Phillips, Antrel Rolle, Deon Grant and Tyler Sash. Mark Herzlich will be a motivational leader all season.
1. Philadelphia Eagles: ?Dream Team?? Yeah, on paper! This team will need time to gel and they didn?t have that during the season. Michael Vick is a phenomenal football player, but he?s still human. The right amount of pressure, as we saw last year and this preseason, will disrupt him to no end and force him into quick decision and erratic passes.
