Case Keenum Receives Honors After Houston Cougars Beat UCLA

After his stellar performance Saturday afternoon against UCLA, Houston Cougars quarterback Case Keenum was honored by Conference USA as the Player of the Week.

Keenum threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns in Houston's 38-34 win over the UCLA Bruins.

The sixth-year senior was also honored by Rivals.com as the Player of the Week for Conference USA.

The C-USA honor is the 10th of Keenum's career, which is the most for any Conference USA football player.

Keenum also rushed for 30 yards and is currently ranked ninth nationally in total offensive yards (340).

He will lead the Cougars on their first road contest when they travel to Denton, Texas for a 6 p.m. matchup vs. North Texas on Saturday.
