THESE are the moments when outgoing Hull City Council leader Carl Minns admitted defeat and faced the prospect of having to find a job.
The pictures indicate Mr Minns' emotions on a dramatic night at the Guildhall, when he personally and his Liberal Democrat party suffered a shattering defeat.
In an unscripted press conference, Mr Minns did not disguise how devastating the expected result was and refused to blame others.
He told reporters: "I am not going to blame anyone else, nationally or locally, I am the leader of the group and I take responsibility for that."
