The make-up of the new Labour cabinet on Hull City Council has been announced.
The ten-strong team led by Steve Brady and his deputy Daren Hale will officially take over from their Liberal Democrat counterparts after next week's annual council meeting.
It includes a surprise call-up from the Labour backbenches for veteran Terry Geraghty and a first cabinet post for ex-housing chairman John Black.
Other newcomers to cabinet positions include John Hewitt, Helen O'Mullane, Rilba Jones and Martin Mancey.
Steve Bayes and Phil Webster, who both served as cabinet portfolio holders in previous administrations, complete the line-up.
As yet, individual portfolio holder responsibilities have yet to be decided.
As forecast in the Mail, former Labour council leader Colin Inglis has been nominated by his group to be Hull's next Lord Mayor.
