EAST RIDING: Places are still available for people to take part in a charity zip wire event at the KC Stadium.
The Big Zip Hull 2011 will take place on May 29 and is a 150m-long zip slide across the pitch from 26m high.
The event will raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The charity hopes to raise �20,000, which will go towards its East Yorkshire nursing appeal and enable more patients to be cared for in their own homes.

EAST RIDING: Fundraisers at the Love You 2 appeal, the Mail's charity of the year, are asking people to send in photographs of themselves with one of the charity's bags, next to famous landmarks.
The appeal aims to raise �2.5 million to expand facilities at Dove House Hospice.
Hospice trustee Judith Hodgson recently had her photograph taken with her bag and a policeman outside Buckingham Palace.
Now, supporters are being encouraged to send their photographs, along with their name and where the picture was taken, to loveyou2@dovehouse.org.uk
EAST RIDING: Scope in Hull Road, Anlaby, is continuing to appeal for donations of stock.
Items including clothes for men and women and bric-a-brac are needed.

EAST RIDING: Driffield Male Voice Choir will perform at St Mary's Church in Swine on Saturday.
They will help to raise money for the restoration of the church.
