Forest chairman featured in Sunday Times Rich List

NOTTINGHAM Forest chairman Nigel Doughty has featured in The Sunday Times Rich List 2011.

Mr Doughty is ranked 537rd in the annual poll with an estimated fortune of �130 million.

He has fallen 18 places in the list since last year, despite his wealth having increased by �2 million in the last 12 months according to the poll.

The list is topped by steel businessman Lakshmi Mittal and his family, who are worth �17.5 billion.

Mr Doughty also features in The Sunday Times Giving List, which ranks the top-50 people who have donated the highest proportion of their total wealth to charity in the last 12 months.

He is 35th in the poll, having donated �3.8 million to beneficiaries including the medical profession, children, education, and sports.

Mr Doughty is also ranked second in a list of people or companies who made the highest political donations in 2010.

The poll states he gave �1,009,450 to the Labour Party last year.
