East Riding Council leader: 'I feel sorry for Carl Minns"

Leading East Riding Conservative Stephen Parnaby says he feels sorry for Liberal Democrat Carl Minns, who has lost his seat on Hull City Council.

Cllr Parnaby said: "I feel sorry for Carl. I will probably ring him later. He has put a lot of time and effort in.

"You can't help feeling sorry for the individual. I put it down, in Carl's case, to the national picture."
