Last night, the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated Real Salt Lake 3-1 to win the Western Conference and advance to the MLS Cup Finals for the second time in three years.
The Galaxy scored first on a Landon Donovan penalty kick in the 23rd minute. But after Salt Lake had tied it just two minutes later, the game remained deadlocked into the second-half. That was when Beckham unleashed one of the more beautiful passes you will see. Beckham bent a ball from the right side into the box where Mike Magee's head took over. Ireland's Robbie Keane, playing in just his ninth game with the Galaxy, finished off the scoring with a nifty move in the 68th minute.
