BCS Rankings: 3 Teams That Can Nail Down a BCS Bowl with One Major Win

While we are still trying to figure out who will go where in the BCS bowl games, here are a few teams that could lock up a BCS bowl with just one victory.

Oklahoma State/Oklahoma

Just a couple of weeks ago it appeared that both of these teams will end up in a BCS bowl but now it may be just the winner of the game when they meet up. Since there is no Big 12 Championship Game, this contest is as big as it gets for these two teams. Win and secure a spot in the Fiesta Bowl, lose and you're likely out of the BCS picture all together.

Clemson

The Tigers have already locked up the Atlantic division so the game against South Carolina this weekend doesn't really matter for them. They will play the winner of the Virginia-Virginia Tech game in the ACC Championship. Of course if Clemson ends up winning that game they will move on to the Orange Bowl and play the winner of the Big East. Clemson will be the favorite, it's just a question of which team shows up.

Stanford

It doesn't look like the Cardinal will have a chance for the Pac-12 title but they will secure a bowl victory if they win against Notre Dame this weekend. Stanford would then have finished the year with a 11-1 record and would be a very attractive option for an at-large bid. No bowl would be crazy enough to turn down Andre Luck and company. Beat the Irish this weekend and the Cardinal are in.
