BCS Rankings Week 11: Who'll Be on the Outside Looking In For the BCS Bowls?

As the bowl season is just about a month away there are some teams that will have a heard time reaching a BCS bowl. Here are a few teams that will be on the outside looking in.

West Virginia Mountaineers

West Virginia started the season off as the favorite to win the Big East and looked like they would come through, until they lost three games. West Virginia has really fallen off and are not the same team they were a month ago. It now looks like the Cincinnati Bearcats will win the Big East and earn a spot in the Orange Bowl.

Virginia Tech Hokies

The game Thursday against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will pretty much decide who wins the Coastal division in the ACC. Even though the Hokies may get by the Yellow Jackets they would still have to beat Clemson in the ACC Championship game, which the Tigers beat 23-3 earlier in the year. Virginia Tech has a solid team but it's hard to imagine them reaching the Orange Bowl when they have shown inconsistency all year.
