The Met Office is predicting temperatures could reach 20 degrees in our region tomorrow - as hot as the forecasted highs in Barcelona, Rhodes and warmer than Malta and Milan.
April Fool's Day is expected to bring a cloudy start, but forecasters said things should improve with some hazy sunshine developing at times, bringing the very respectable temperatures by afternoon despite a keen southwesterly breeze.
As the weekend begins, however, the weather takes a turn for the worse.
The Met Office said it would be fine at first on Saturday, but showers will usher in fresher weather though the day. On Sunday, there will be sunshine and showers followed by a chilly night. More rain later on Monday.
