HULL: A Hull Volunteering Fair will be held in City Hall on Monday to mark the beginning of Volunteers Week.

A total of 50 local organisations and groups from the voluntary, community and public sector will be showcasing their work and inspiring other people to get involved.

The fair will be open to the public from 11am to 3pm.

Volunteer centre manager Tom Grealy said: "The overwhelming majority of volunteers really enjoy the experience and get a huge amount of satisfaction from getting involved, not to mention new skills, new friends and fun.
