As the concern over the long-term effect of concussions in football grows, the NFL will soon have to deal with a massive lawsuit collectively filed by more than 2,000 former players.

There are around 100 concussion-related lawsuits currently levied against the NFL, but the players are consolidating their lawsuits into a "master complaint," according to Los Angeles Times.

Lawyers of the players are suing because of their belief that the NFL "deliberately and fraudulently concealed from its players the link between football-related head impacts and long-term neurological injuries."

Lawyers will be in court on Thursday, so more details about the lawsuit are forthcoming.
