FAIL: Minnesota Twins Butcher A Player's Name On His Jersey, And None Of His Teammates Told Him About It

Jeff Manship

Pitcher Jeff Manship just got called up from Triple-A Rochester to join the Minnesota Twins in May, and it looks his last name hasn't quite sunk in yet.

The back of Jeff's jersey last night read "Mansihp," and according to MLB.com writer Rhett Bollinger, all of the other Twins had a few laughs at Manship's expense.

Manship pitched the entirety of the sixth inning, allowing no runs and one hit.
