NCAA Championship Game Generated Seven Times The Social Media Comments Than The Average March Madness Game

Below is an infographic that looks at the social media buzz generated by last night's NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game.

In all, the game generated nearly 1.5 million social media comments. For comparison, on Saturday, the Final Four matchup between Louisville and Kentucky generated 614,000 comments, and the other semifinal matchup between Ohio State and Kansas generated 586,000.

The game with the most social media buzz prior to the Final Four was the Elite Eight match-up between Kansas and North Carolina (500,000 comments).
