The Harlem Globetrotters are known around the world for their trick shots and routines. They are also known for being comprised of African-Americans. So it might surprise most to see that the newest Globetrotter is Jacob Tucker.
Jim Weber of Ball Don't Lie is reporting that the Harlem Globetrotters have signed Tucker, a 5-foot-11, former Division-III point guard, with a 50-inch vertical leap. Tucker first became known after a series of videos showing his amazing leaping ability went viral on YouTube.
While white Globetrotters are rare, Tucker is not the first. Bob Karstens played for the team in the '40s and '50s.
