Remember that time Kobe Bryant was really upset about how the Chris Paul trade unfolded?
That likely hasn't changed.
But it has presented him with a new challenge: defending his throne.
With the addition of Paul, the Lakers are no longer the only show in town.
The Clippers will likely be a run-and-gun team, complete with awe-inspiring alley-oop dunks. Between the veteran backcourt duo of Paul and Chauncey Billups, and the energetic frontcourt tandem of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, we can expect to see a lot more red, white and blue around L.A. Live.
And don't forget the ever-comedic stylings of Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro.
Needless to say, questions abound whether this will remain Kobe's "town." A challenge he no doubt accepts.
