Obviously the national championship will have a lot of NFL talent but we’ve already talked about that when these teams played each other earlier this season. Here are three other games chock full of future NFL players.
Oklahoma State vs. Stanford
Between these two schools there are a projected four first round draft picks including the consensus number one guy Andrew Luck. Jonathan Martin and David DeCastro are the two big name offensive linemen but State’s Levy Adcock may have something to say about that. Justin Blackmon has been the most productive receiver the past two years but Stanford’s Chris Owusu, Coby Fleener and Griff Whalen could all be playing on Sundays.
Defensively Cowboy safety Markelle Martin and Cardinal linebacker Chase Thomas each have bright futures. At least the Fiesta Bowl is trying to make up for the BCS not taking Oklahoma State in the national championship.
Florida State vs. Notre Dame
One of the better non-BCS Bowls will be the Champs Sports Bowl with two of the biggest preseason media darlings. But they were liked for a reason and it’s because of all the NFL talent on their rosters.
If Manti Te’o declares for the draft, the Irish could have two first round draft picks. Florida State has more quantity than quality. Defensive end Brandon Jenkins, offensive tackle Zebrie Sanders and linebacker Nigel Bradham should all be in this year’s draft but there is exorbitant amount of young guys who will future picks. Bjooern Werner, Greg Reid and Xavier Rhodes are just three of those guys.
Andrew Brackman A.J. Burnett Steve Garrison Phil Hughes Damaso Marte Mariano Rivera
