Spike Lee was sitting in the front row of Replica Yankee Stadium this weekend when a wayward bat, from the hands of Mark Teixeira, came flying in the direction of the director/producer/writer/actor/professional-NYC-sports-team-fan.
While most will undoubtedly enjoy Lee's over-exuberant "Look what I found!" moment. Closer inspection of the video shows the neon-capped bespectacled spectator running in fear from the flying piece of lumber, leaving, what I presume is his son, to fend for himself.
Mars Blackmon would not be proud...
