It’s no surprise that the NFL is dominated by quarterbacks. As, the last five Super Bowl winners have all had a great quarterback leading their team.
The same goes for your fantasy football franchise. Your team can only go so far with great running backs and receivers. It’s the quarterback position that can score you upwards of 20-or-more points in a given week.
They are the person who touches the ball on every single snap. They are the person who is in control of an offense. And they are the person that can easily have two or more touchdowns every week.
So with that said, here are three quarterbacks that you HAVE to start this week, because, they will have big days.
Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Brees is having another great season, as he has in every year since he came to New Orleans. This week against a depleted Buccaneers team, his owners can expect him to have another big day throwing the ball.
You can expect the Saints quarterback to throw a couple of touchdown passes and have a game close to 300 yards passing against Tampa Bay.
Mark Sanchez, New York Jets
Sanchez owners have been frustrated by the Jets quarterback these last two weeks. After starting the season with two 300 yard games, he has regressed in a big way. But, this week he will get back on track, as the Jets play the worst passing defense in the Dolphins.
Start Sanchez with extreme confidence this week.
Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens
Flacco owners should rejoice seeing that Texans Pro Bowl defensive end, Mario Williams, is out for their game against the Ravens this week. Now, Flacco won’t have to worry about the Texans’ pass rush disrupting his passes.
Flacco owners should be confident in Joe’s chances at getting two or more touchdowns this week with 250 yards.
In the case of Sanchez and Flacco, they may be found on your waiver wire. If your facing a bye week, they are great options to pick up.
