Fantasy Football Week 4 Injury Report: Roethlisberger's Injury a Fantasy Nightmare

Cross your fingers if you own a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers offense.

QB Ben Roethlisberger was seen in a walking boot as he enter the team plane for the flight back to Pittsburgh after their 17-10 loss to the Houston Texans.

He injured it on the second to last drive in the fourth quarter and had a noticeable limp for the remainder of the game.

Head coach Mike Tomlin was short on details about it, but expect him to be questionable for a Week 5 clash with the Tennessee Titans.

I the injury is serious, it will kill the fantasy seasons of RB Rashard Mendenhall, WR Mike Wallace, WR Antonio Brown, WR Emmanuel Sanders and WR Hines Ward. The Steelers offensive line is incredibly bad and there is little time for a play to develop.

With Roethlisberger's terrific instincts, he can still move the chains despite the heavy pressure. If backups Charlie Batch or Dennis Dixon are forced into action, the game plan immediately turns into "dink and dunk" mode were the screen pass becomes the main offensive play.

That's incredibly brutal for a speedster like Wallace, that is at his best when he's stretching the field. Without Big Ben, the Steelers are going to mass protect as well. That means the defense can really zero in on the receivers and force them into bad routes.

Last year the Steelers were 3-1 while Roethlisberger was serving his four game suspension, but that was a completely different team with a solid O-Line.

In 2011 if the Steelers lose Big Ben for any sort of extended amount of time...the entire Pittsburgh offense is screwed.

Cross your fingers and hope Big Ben isn't dealing with a very serious injury.
