Pretty great game so far as the New England Patriots take on the Dallas Cowboys at Gillette Stadium. Tom Brady and the Pats are looking to notch their 20th straight victory at home and take down Tony Romo and the struggling Cowboys.
Here are 5 halftime adjustments the Patriots must make if they want to move to 5-1.
1. Take Advantage Turnovers
The Patriots need to take advantage of gifts in the second half. Dallas has already committed costly turnovers deep in New England territory that have only resulted in field goals. In order for the Pats to win this game, they have to take advantage of the Cowboys' errors and make the most out of short field situations.
2. Stop the Stupid Mistakes
In the first quarter alone New England committed two costly turnovers deep in their own territory. Luckily for the Pats, Dallas was unable to put a touchdown on the board. In order for New England to come away with this big victory, they have to clean up their act on offense and avoid stupid mistakes.
3. Red Zone Offense

On the Pats first two scoring drives they were unable to come up with touchdowns in the red zone. Brady needs to convert on these favorable situations by looking to his big TEs Gronkowski and Hernandez near the goal line.
4. Third Down D
Dallas' offense was not effective on third down throughout the first half of the game. In order for the Pats to continue this success they must bring the heat. Romo already was forced into throwing a costly interception on third down and look for heavy pressure to continue to bother the Cowboys' mistake-prone QB.
5. Run Under the Out Routes
New England's defense has been doing a great job of limiting Romo's options down the field. The Pats need to continue to run under the out routes as they can expect the Cowboy's QB to look towards his speedy receivers, Austin and Bryant for quick hits.
