
A lot of us collected baseball cards when we were kids hoping that someday we would have that next Mickey Mantle rookie card. But for most of us, all of those Gregg Jefferies rookie cards are now sitting in our mom's basement or rotting in a dump someplace.
But for the serious card collectors, sports cards, especially baseball cards, is still a very lucrative business. In recent years, there have been ten different cards to sell or be auctioned off for at least $200 thousand.
