There aren't any places to impress NBA scouts more prior to the draft than at the Final Four, where the stakes are highest and the basketball world is watching.
Kansas, Louisville, Kentucky and Ohio State all have players who will be in the NBA next season, but all of them could still use a signature performance in the NCAA Tournament's final weekend to show scouts how talented they really are.
Let's look at three prospects with the most to gain at the Final Four.
Thomas Robinson, F, Kansas
Thomas Robinson isn't the most athletic players in this year's draft class, but his fundamentally strong skills and great strength allow him to dominate in the paint at both ends of the floor.
He's a very good inside scorer and rebounds extremely well. If he can show scouts that he's capable of putting a team on his back and can carry the struggling Jayhawk stars such as Tyshawn Taylor to a national title, then Robinson's draft stock will skyrocket.
I project Robinson to be a top five pick, but he could possibly move as high as pick No. 2 with a stellar Final Four performance.
Jared Sullinger, F, Ohio State
Jared Sullinger is one of the best big men in college basketball and his consistency has been impressive this season.
His stats weren't greatly improved compared to last season, but he has a polished low-post offensive game and is a high-energy player. His defense is also strong and his shot-blocking ability has really gotten better this season
Sullinger is a lock to be a top 10 pick in the draft, but a solid Final Four could vault him into the top five. He has yet to show that he can dominate in the biggest games at the college level, but he will get his chance starting Saturday.
Marquis Teague, G, Kentucky
Marquis Teague is a talented point guard who runs the Wildcats' offensive effectively without making bad turnovers or silly mistakes.
He's also a good offensive player and can score with his solid outside shooting or by driving to the basket off the dribble.
His strength and size is perfect for an NBA point guard and he could really prove to scouts that he's a future starter in the pros with an impressive Final Four showing.
Teague would solidify his status as a first-round pick and really bolster his draft stock with a Kentucky national title.
