Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans: Live Score, Video and Analysis

Rookie QB T.J. Yates and the Houston Texans are going to try to gain some momentum going into the playoffs as they face off with the Tennessee Titans.

Houston is going to be getting some big time help back with the return of Andre Johnson.

This is going to be huge as his absence definitely hurt in the past two losses to lesser teams (Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts).

Especially against the Colts, who won by just three points on a final drive. I have to imagine Johnson would have had enough of an impact to get Houston another score.

If he is there, Houston probably has 11 wins and are still in the hunt for a first-round bye.

Now Houston is locked as the No. 3 seed in the AFC.

For Tennessee, this game has much more meaning.

Their playoff dreams are only possible with a win.

However, even if they win, they still need a lot of help.

I do not expect this Houston team to play like it is meaningless on paper.

They have two straight losses and do not want to sputter into the playoffs with a three game losing streak.

Also, the defensive leader, LB Brian Cushing, has something to prove with his lack of selection the Pro Bowl.

With defensive coordinator Wade Phillips back, the Texans defense will be fired up and ready and I expect Houston to gain some much-needed momentum and win on their home turf.

Updated Score: Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. EST.
