NEW Alex Morgan, Hope Solo, Miami Dolphin Sportscenter Ad (Video)

USWNT team members Alex Morgan and Hope Solo have teamed up again. Last week, we gave you the video commercial for the Wii Dance Party video game. Now the two gorgeous soccer superstars have teamed up with the Miami Dolphins mascot for one of those familiar “this is sportscenter” spots. Watch it after the jump. [...]

Redskins vs. Cowboys Monday Night Football: Romo Shows Guts and Leads Cowboys to Win

Tony Romo has proven skeptics wrong over the course of the last two weeks. One week after leading Dallas to a come from behind victory against the San Francisco 49ers, he did the same against the "hated" Washington Redskins.

Nursing an injured rib, Romo worked his magic throughout the game and was able to gut it out for what could be a "team defining victory."

Although his statistics will not show it, Romo played a great game tonight. He acted the part of a general on the football field and directed young players where to go pre-snap. He was also able to dictate the direction and routes that were taken during the fourth quarter comeback.

This Cowboys win wasn't pretty and they had a lot of mental mistakes, something that is going to have to be fixed moving forward. Costa snapping the ball early four separate times almost cost the Cowboys a win. Bad route running by numerous Dallas Cowboys receivers had Tony Romo extremely upset throughout the fourth quarter. He was as upset as I had seen him since joining the NFL a few years back.

It was another close game for the Cowboys too. All three of their games have been decided by three points or less. And, if it wasn't for Tony Romo Dallas would probably be 0-3.

Romo showed a tremendous amount of moxie in leading his team to victory tonight. It cannot be stated enough how difficult it is to play the quarterback position with a broken rib. Everything you do in the process of throwing a pass hurts and Romo showed that pain today.

If nothing else, this win should quit Romo skeptics: at least, for the next six days or so.

On Washington's side, it was a heart wrenching loss that will have a major impact for the team moving forward. Instead of taking a full one game lead in the NFC East, Washington is now part of a three team tie with Dallas and the New York Giants. Mark this loss on your calender because it could have a major impact on how the division race plays out down the stretch in December and January.

The Wise Guys In Vegas Are Betting The Redskins Over The Cowboys Tonight ? Here's Why

Dez Bryant NFL Catch Dallas Cowboys Football

The line in tonight's Cowboys-Redskins game opened at DAL -6.

But the pro bettors in Vegas hammered it down to -3.5 over the last day or so.

Obviously the uncertainty surrounding Tony Romo's health is part of this movement. But that's not the only reason:

  • Dallas' injuries go beyond Romo. Miles Austin is out and Dez Bryant and Felix Jones are both questionable. That's three huge playmakers that will either be sidelined or less than 100%. DB Orlando Scandrick is also out.
  • The Redskins might be good. We all chalked up Washington's win over the Giants in Week One to New York being a mess. But the Giants are now 2-1, so now that win looks more impressive than we previously thought. The buzz over Washington started when NFL.com's Mike Lombardi and others touted them in the preseason, and the Skins have more than justified that hype in the first two games.

What we think: When there's this much uncertainty, it's a safer play to take the points. But if the line drops to a field goal or less, there's value in taking the 'Boys and hoping Romo stays upright.

Either way, keep an eye on the injury report in case there's any sudden changes with Romo and the rest of the injured Cowboys before you place your wager.

How Can the Minnesota Vikings Actually Win a Game?

The teams that met from the NFC North on Sunday in Minneapolis seem to be heading in vastly different directions. The Lions are a youthful and exuberant bunch, while the Vikings are a beaten down lackadaisical squad. I have some suggestions for Leslie Frazier on how Minnesota can join their divisional foes in the win [...]
