Novak Djokovic proved that he's ready to take on French Open master Rafael Nadal, after defeating Roger Federer in straight sets 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.
Djokovic, despite struggling in his past two matches, proved that all you have to do is survive and advance. He looked dominant against one of the greatest players in tennis history.
He limited his unforced errors, broke Federer's serve often, and was confident with his strokes.

It was a dominating performance.
Now it's time for another epic showdown with Nadal, this time at the French Open final.
History
Nadal has won two straight French Open titles and six-of-seven; he owns the clay at Roland Garros. He hasn't even dropped a set in this tournament.
For Djokovic, he finally broke through at the French Open, reaching the finals for the first time in his career. He is currently holding three-of-four Grand Slam titles, and he has a chance to hold four if he can beat Nadal on Sunday.
He will do whatever it takes to hold all of them.

Djokovic has lost all three matches against Nadal at the French Open, but this is a completely different player. Djokovic has had Nadal's number in the past three Grand Slams, winning at the Australian Open, US Open and Wimbledon.
He knows that he's capable of defeating Nadal on any surface.
Form

Djokovic has shown hiccups at this year's Grand Slam and Nadal hasn't. Nadal simply looks unbeatable right now, and it's going to take a monumental effort to knock him off his throne.
If any player can do it, it's Djokovic. He wasn't on top of his form heading into his match with Federer yet he showed few weaknesses in the thrashing.
Prediction
Djokovic is going to give Nadal everything he can handle, but Roland Garros is Nadal's playground. Expect this match to go the distance with Nadal winning yet another French Open.
