Toews Comeback From Concussion Is On Hold

from Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune, It was late last week when Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews flashed a grin following his fourth consecutive day of skating and shared his optimism for rejoining the lineup a couple of days later.

On Thursday, Toews was off the ice for the third time in four days, and the optimism has been challenged by worry that the center could be out quite awhile longer.

Other than a short time on the ice Wednesday, Toews has taken a step back in his recovery from a concussion that will sideline the 23-year-old for his 12th game in a row when the Hawks face the Stars on Friday night in Dallas.
