HULL: Three people have appeared in court charged in connection with a stabbing last week.

A woman, 37, was stabbed following a disturbance in Lissett Grove, north Hull, at 10pm on Easter Monday.

The victim suffered stab wounds to her body and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment. Her injuries were not life threatening.

Garry Foster, 50, of Arram Grove, Hull, Ian Templeman, 51, of Beverley Road, Hull, and Wendy Templeman, 47, of Beverley Road, Hull, were all charged with wounding.

They have appeared at magistrates court and the case was referred to Hull Crown Court on Thursday.

EAST RIDING: A dog escaped unhurt after falling 150ft from a cliff in Flamborough.

The springer spaniel initially fell about 120ft on to a ledge at North Landing just before 2.30pm yesterday. But it then fell another 30ft into the water below.

The Bridlington coastguard team and the Flamborough Inshore Lifeboat were called out and the dog was reunited with its owner.

E YORKS: A spitfire will fly across Hull to mark the 70th anniversary of the worst two nights of the Hull blitz on May 7 and 8, 1941.

To commemorate the event, the Carnegie Heritage Centre in the city will be holding a Hull Blitz exhibition on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.

As part of this event, the Heroes Of Hull website www.heroesofhull.co.uk has arranged for a flypast over the city by an RAF WW2 Spitfire at 2.20pm on Saturday over the west of the city.

HULL: Bin collections will be delayed by a day this week due to the bank holidays.

Collections that were due in the city today will be collected tomorrow and all collections due for the rest of the week will be collected a day later than usual.
