A man with learning difficulties has been assaulted following a robbery in North Hull.
The attack took place at 9.40pm on Wednesday at the junction of Hall Road and Ellerburn Avenue, near the Orchard Park Medical Centre.
The victim was punched to the ground and his loose change, mobile telephone and a bunch of keys were stolen.
Three teenage boys saw the incident and chased the offenders off. The victim sustained minor bruising and cuts to the face and hands.
Detective Inspector Paul Dixon said: "This was a sickening assault on a shy and vulnerable man with learning difficulties."
